Client Objective
An international buyer was looking for a reliable manufacturing partner in Vietnam to source biodegradable grass straws under their own brand. Beyond production, they needed a supplier capable of ensuring consistent quality, supporting private labeling, and managing export requirements for international distribution.
Challenges
Natural products are highly dependent on seasonal conditions. While many industries experience production disruptions during Vietnam’s rainy season, the raw material (Lepironia grass) used for biodegradable grass straws reaches its optimal harvesting quality during this period in the Mekong Delta.
The challenge was to organize production and quality control efficiently during the harvest season, while ensuring the finished products met export standards and were ready for international shipment under the client’s private label.
